Brandt Almost Wins Montana National EnduroJuly 01st, 2009
Dicks Racing sponsored rider Jordan Brandt barely misses first National Enduro win.
Dicks Racing / Ace Motorsports sponsored Jordan Brandt went to Montana with one thing in mind, winning a National Enduro. Heading into the final special test, Brandt was leading the race until an unfortunate crash ruined his chance of victory. Still, he remounted and took 2nd overall, just seconds away from the win. Some say his finish was a suprise. They must have a memory problem. The last time there was a tough and rocky National Enduro was in Nevada last year. Brandt won the event in convincing fashion only to be penalized for a scoring transponder mishap and bumped down to 3rd overall. Brandt praised the suspension as the key to his success, saying " this is the best suspension ever ". In reality, what he said may be true, however, his freakish skills certainly help. The fact that a 30 year old guy who works everyday just like the rest of us can go to race of this scale and almost take down the "orange monster" also known as the factory KTM off road team, is a true testament of both rider and motorcycle performance. For a complete list of sponsors, see 09 race season in the news section. Next up, round 1 of the Endurocross in Fabulous Las Vegas (my hometown). After an impressive performance in Reno at the Extreme Enduro, Brandt is ready to try and qualify for the BIG SHOW on July 25th. More on that later, stay tuned..... More NewsAugust 31st, 2010
