Dicks Racing Announces 2010 Race TeamJanuary 12th, 2010
For 2010, Dicks Racing will expand it's off-road racing program to include top riders on 5 different brands of motorcycles.
Returning for his fifth season on the Dicks Racing team is the #4 bike ridden by Jordan Brandt. A National Scrambles and Enduro winner as well as 3-time D-36 champion and ISDE gold medalist, Jordan is looking to have his best year ever. On the brand new BMW G450X, we expect great results on the National Enduro/Nare Scrambles scene from a rider capable of almost anything.
Back for the sixth year is AA rider Vaughn Wilk. Full of potential and blessed with a smooth style and deceptive speed, Vaughn starts the new season on a new bike. The RMZ 450 is his weapon of choice and claims "it turns circles around the other bikes". Maybe that will be the edge he needs to have a breakout year in the premier class. Also back from last year is Chaz Halbert. A gifted rider with blazing speed intent on making his mark this year. Look for him to have a great year moving up to the RMZ 450 as well. Joining the Suzuki Musketeers is Travis Zischka, also on an RMZ 450. After dominating the A class, he moves up to the double A class this year. As long as he is healthy, he will be a threat. A former hillclimb champ, skill and speed are no problem for him.
On the orange bikes, we have Bryce Olson back from a series of injuries. A fitness junkie combined with mad skills makes him a threat for the overall win whenever he races. If he stays healthy there are no limits for what he wants to accomplish. Running the #2 plate for 2010, Robert Underwood joins the team. He will be riding a KXF 450 and will be focusing on the National Hare and Hound series and the Worcs series. Robert has tremendous amounts of both talent and desire that will propel him to great results. Also on a Kawasaki KXF 450 will be an overweight has-been. He claims he will get in shape in hopes of regaining his former speed. We have heard it all before and doubt he will actualy do the work. Still, he trash talks anyway and makes bold predictions about wins to come in the future. He better hurry, he's not getting any younger.
