Karsmakers Wins 50+ VET World ChampionshipDecember 17th, 2008
Riding a Dicks Racing modified Honda CRF450, Toon Karsmakers takes the title back to Holland.

In moto1 an epic battle broke out between Karsmakers and fellow Dicks Racing sponsored rider Chuck Sun.The two riders s tarted next to each other, with Karsmakers coming off the gate wildly and almost takng Sun out. From there, Sun methodicaly worked his way to the front and looked to have the win in the bag. With only two laps to go, tragedy struck and Sun got a rear flat. Rumor has it that Karsmakers put the slam pass on the Yamaha rider taking him down. All of this led to Karsmakers earning the reputation as "The Dutch Assassin" The next moto again saw Karsmakers pull the holeshot on the Dicks Racing modified CRF 450. Sun would not start next to "the assassin" this time, prefering to take the safer route. It paid off, he worked his way to the front as Karsmakers went back to 3rd after a tip-over. In the end, Sun won the battle and Karsmakers won the war. Both bikes were prepared by Dicks Racing. Chuck Sun's KTM 450xcf featured Dicks HFP fork mods, Shock Revalve, and Carb Mods.
